The Fortnight Showcase presents: Darin Welch!
Deep in the confines between the Purcell and Rocky Mountain ranges there is a place that promotes and nurtures creativity. Darin Welch is a singer-songwriter from Kimberley BC who constantly searches for the perfect sonic message, and finds inspiration from the musings of Josh Ritter, Gregory Alan Isakov, Whitehorse, derelict buildings, and vagabonds. Darin has shared his songs in festivals across British Columbia amongst the likes of Elliot Brood and Ron Sexsmith. Welch records out of his home-based studio: a vintage 1962 trailer known as Canned Hamm Studio. And as one of our area's brightest musical talents, Darin will proudly show his songs and his charisma when he takes the stage at this coming Fortnight Showcase at the Fire Hall Kitchen & Tap on Thursday September 29th
Showtime 8:00pm-10:00pm. Seating is limited, so please arrive early. There will be a $5.00 gratuity applied to everyone attending the Fortnight Showcase series, and 100% of this goes directly to the performing artist.
