Our good friends at Taynton Bay Spirits recently undertook an epic journey. Their goal - to slay a dragon and steal its gold. If you’ve watched this season’s Dragons Den you know that Inveremere’s craft distillery accomplished their mission, sort of: with a disappointing lack of fire, thrashing, and swordplay, Dragon and knight became fast friends, and decided to join forces in their quest for more gold.
In response to TBD’s request for $125,000 for 7% of their company, Dragon, Arlene Dickinson, countered with an increased $185,000 for 10% and provided a $40,000 marketing course. With big cheesy grins the boys accepted. Four million people watched this union of giants and we cheered along with the rest.
To celebrate our friends, we’re hosting a Taynton Bay Takeover. This will be a party to remember (or not) and will feature their dragon slaying Taynton Teas and original cocktails featuring their spirits.
Boys, we’re sure proud of you! Nothing like stepping into the big leagues and hitting a homer.

PS: Pardon our poster, but “Dragon Befrienders” doesn’t have the same ring to it :)
