EVENT ALERT: Nelson Brewing Company is coming to take over our taps (TTO) Thursday, August 15th from 7-11 pm. NBC started brewing in the 1800s. It was later sold to Columbia Brewery and opps were moved to Creston (Kokanee brewery). A new NBC started brewing in 1991 in the original building; there is still a gall-dang creek running through the building that was originally diverted into the brewery as a form of plumbing. With new branding, and lots of new small-batch beers, NBC is definitely worth a tour and their beer is definitely worth a drink. Come meet the folks that have been slinging beer in the Koots as long as anyone.

Chef Doug has worked his usual magic on a one-day-only menu to light a fire that only a paired NBC beer can put out.
